1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Sullexis LLC (“Sullexis”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the application and related services (the “Offering”), including when accessed via Microsoft Azure Marketplace or Microsoft AppSource.

This policy supplements Sullexis’ general Privacy Policy and applies specifically to your use of the Offering.

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to:

  • The Offering
  • Interactions through Azure Marketplace / AppSource
  • Customer onboarding, deployment, and usage of the Offering

This policy does not apply to:

  • Microsoft’s collection and processing of data through Azure Marketplace (governed by Microsoft’s privacy policies)
  • Customer content stored and managed by the customer within its Microsoft environment, except to the limited extent described in this policy for support, diagnostics, security, or operation of the Offering.

3. Information We Collect

We may collect or access the following categories of information in connection with the Offering:

3.1 Information Provided by Customers

We may collect:

  • Organization name and contact information
  • Administrator account details (e.g., name, email)
  • Support inquiries and communications

3.2 Azure and Deployment Data

When the Offering is deployed, we may collect:

  • Azure subscription ID and tenant ID
  • Deployment configuration details (e.g., workspace, region)
  • Resource identifiers and metadata
  • Licensing and subscription information

3.3 Usage and Telemetry Data

We collect operational and diagnostic information, including:

  • Offering usage metrics
  • Feature utilization and performance data
  • Logs, error reports, and system diagnostics
  • Access timestamps and session activity

3.4 Automatically Collected Data

We may collect:

  • IP address and device information
  • Browser or client environment details
  • Authentication metadata (via Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory)

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provision, operate, and maintain the Offering
  • Enable governance insights and analytics through the Offering
  • Monitor system performance and improve functionality
  • Provide support and troubleshooting
  • Ensure security, detect fraud, and prevent misuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

5. Microsoft Marketplace and Third-Party Processing

Purchases and billing are processed by Microsoft, and Sullexis does not collect payment card information.

The Offering integrates with Microsoft Azure services and relies on Azure Active Directory for authentication.

The Offering is designed to operate primarily within the customer’s Microsoft environment, and Sullexis does not host customer content as part of the core Offering.

We may engage third-party providers to support operation, monitoring, security, diagnostics, or related business functions for the Offering, such as:

  • Microsoft Azure (hosting, infrastructure, identity)
  • Monitoring and logging services (as applicable)

6. Customer Environment Data and Sullexis Role

The Offering is designed to operate primarily within the customer’s Microsoft environment. Customer data, including Microsoft Fabric and Power BI metadata and governance-related information, remains within the customer’s Microsoft environment except to the extent limited data is accessed or transmitted as necessary to provision, support, secure, diagnose, or operate the Offering.

Microsoft provides the underlying cloud infrastructure, identity, and marketplace services associated with deployment and operation of the Offering. Customers are responsible for their own Microsoft environment and the data made available to the Offering.

6.1 Sullexis-Controlled Data

Sullexis may collect and control limited information such as:

  • Account and contact information
  • Limited operational telemetry, diagnostic data, and analytics related to use of the Offering
  • Support communications

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data. We may share information:

  • With third-party providers that support operation, monitoring, security, diagnostics, or related business functions for the Offering.
  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To protect the rights, security, and integrity of the Offering and our business operations

8. Data Retention

We retain limited account, support, telemetry, and other operational data only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the Offering
  • Meet contractual and legal obligations

Retention periods vary based on:

  • Customer agreements
  • Type of data and use case

9. Data Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards for the limited data we collect or access, including:

  • Secure cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure)
  • Access controls and identity management
  • Encryption in transit and at rest (where applicable)

10. International Data Transfers

Limited information collected or accessed in connection with the Offering may be processed in regions where Microsoft Azure or Sullexis service providers operate. Where applicable, we rely on:

  • Standard contractual safeguards
  • Applicable data transfer mechanisms

11. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal data
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Request data portability
